Essays by Kevin Faulkner

Each year, on Sir Thomas Browne Day 19 October, Browne scholar and champion Kevin Faulkner writes an essay and publishes it on his blog, The Aquarium of Vulcan blog/ Kevin is an expert on Browne's written works and reads other works of philosophy. He has tirelessly worked to promote Browne and to encourage people to read his original works. Each essay has relevance to other subjects , making interesting links and connections. You can fin d the links to each essay here.

Kevin also performs extracts of Browne's works, dressed in costume, bringing his words to life with dramatic effect. It is often said that Browne's writing is best enjoyed read aloud rather than silently in one's head. Kevin's readings help people to find his words easier when performed.
